The organic form of the mushroom veggie served as the model for this table's design. Rhinoceros 3D was used to create the basic design, which was subsequently executed in the workshop. To accentuate the coffee table's organic, natural appearance, the majority of the piece is made of maple tree bark. Three laser-cut acrylic sheets, two of which are clear and one of which is a reflecting copper colour and is sandwiched in between the two clear acrylic sheets, make up the tabletop. It is binded onto the maple bark using four metal screws. In order to give the table a floating appearance when viewed from the front and as depicted in the photos, three wooden poles were put at the base of the table.
