The Beetle Beam lamp is a striking fusion of craftsmanship and symbolism, crafted from layered wood veneer and featuring a unique CNC embroidery technique that brings the beetle's intricate design to life on the lamp shade. Focusing on Lean Manufacturing practices, I wanted to experiment with CNC embroidery and push the boundaries of using this method on unconventional materials This design choice is more than aesthetic; the beetle symbolizes resilience, drawing on its ability to thrive in harsh desert conditions. Beetle Beam serves as both a functional light source and a powerful reminder of the enduring spirit and perseverance.
